The Baytree Restaurant is delighted to announce that they have been included in next years Michelin guide 2014. They have been awarded 2 chef knives and forks, which means very good food at a reasonable price. Run by partners Conor and Kristina, they are located in the heart of Carlingford with all the local sights on their doorstop.
Belvedere House which is the accommodation a joined to The Baytree Restaurant . “The BayTree” is where you will be served by the friendly staff for a choice of different breakfasts.
In The Baytree Restaurant they serve local crab, scallops, mussels & lobster when available, you can also get your traditional steak. All of their fish and meat is sourced from Kettyle Irish Foods and they are proud to offer you the best local produce.
In Summer the restaurant is open Seven days a week 6pm – late and for Sunday lunch.
In Winter, it is closed Mondays and Tuesdays.

Belvedere House Bed and Breakfast provides seven opulent and individually themed and designed rooms, each of the rooms feature an en suite bathroom with a heated towel rail and power shower; including the main suites which are carefully furnished with antique pine furniture. A flat-screen television so you can get all the best entertainment of the day along with tea and coffee for your consumption in every room.
Each of the rooms have been themed using the local Celtic history and legends as their inspiration, Although they may be themed to suit with the historic surroundings we have still provided the very best in clean modern comforts. Free Wi-Fi is provided for all of our guests so you can catch up on your emails, watch netflix or check out all the social media buzz of the day.
As a guest you will have access to the leisure facilities in the Four Seasons Hotel which is located less than a 5 minute walk from Belvedere House. Breakfast is located downstairs in our restaurant The Bay Tree between 8.30-10.00 am So why not spoil yourself to a beautiful short break in a corner of Ireland? Up to three children under 4 years of age stay free of charge when using existing beds. All children under 2 years of age stay free of charge for children’s cribs / cots. Unfortunately, there is no capacity for extra beds in the room. The maximum number of children’s cots/cribs in a room is two. Any type of extra bed or child’s cot/crib must be made upon request and needs to be confirmed by management.
